Abstract

One of the subtle differences between the cancer cell surface and the normal cell is exploited by immunoscintigraphy. The clinical role and some technical aspects of imaging cancer with radiolabelled antibodies are reviewed. 99Tc is the best radiolabel for immunoscintigraphy. Specificity is added to the general sensitivity of nuclear medicine techniques by this approach to imaging cancer
