Abstract

Current status of endocrine treatment for breast cancer is reviewed. Several new aromatase inhibitors as well as antiestro-gens are being introduced for clinical trials. As different drugs within the same drug group may possess different biochemical actions, apart from being useful drugs for treatment of breast cancer, these drugs may also extend our knowledge about the endocrinology of breast cancer.
