Comparative study of the immune response involvement in atopic dermatitis and psoriasis

Immunological and pharmacological disturbances in atopic dermatitis and psoriasis are compared. This comparative study revcaled several analogies: T cell deficiency; hyperfunction of B cells leading to antibody production, defect in the beta-adrenergic response. The role of immunological and pharmacological factors in the pathogenesis of the two diseases is discussed.Downloads
