The effect of limonene on citral sensitization and elicitation was studied by histological methods. Limonene decreases the intensity of citral sensitization and of the citral test. Possible interpretations of the influence of limonene are discussed; in particular, an effect of limonene at the macrophage leve! could explain the results.Downloads
