Young Author Award

Since 2020, the Acta Odontologica Scandinavica Society (AOSS), has supported this award acknowledging the best paper published by a young, first author in Biomaterial Investigations in Dentistry the previous year.

The award has been put on hold as of 2025 to aid AOSS, a not-for-profit society, in accommodating the costs involved in converting Biomaterial Investigations in Dentistry to a Diamond Open Access journal and covering the article publishing charges of all accepted manuscripts.
